If we sum up the life of Martin Luther King Jr. in a few words, those would be kindness, compassion and empathy. These invaluable traits remain equally important to this day, and have the power to transform our surroundings.
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.” There is a priceless message in this quote, that one should never consider even the smallest gesture of kindness or compassion trivially.
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. day, and following the spirit of his beautiful quote, ATSG urges everyone receiving this message to perform at least one act of kindness for someone else, no matter how small it may be.
We at times get so carried away with doing something big, that we miss out on the small opportunities to create a positive impact on someone else’s life, or the world around us. What better occasion than Martin Luther King Jr. day, to change things up a bit.
